"The US State Department in 2014 condemned Israel as one of the most “unacceptable” countries in the world, just behind North Korea.

According to an article published last week by Foreign Policy, over the past year the Obama Administration State Department cited Israel for "unacceptable behavior" more times than Pakistan, Russia, Egypt, China, Afghanistan and Iraq. The article examined how many times a country’s actions were condemned as “unacceptable,” and Israel came in fourth, right after Syria, Iran and North Korea." [Israel Today]

RAPHED ON LEBANON-ISRAEL BORDER: The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) has published a report documenting photographs of Iranian Revolutionary Guard soldiers "killing time" at the Lebanon-Israel border. Preliminary information suggests the pictures were taken in October, but were released only recently, along with verbal threats against Israel. Several photographs published contain the caption: "We have arrived to the cursed Israel." The Twitter account linked to the Revolutionary Guards uploaded a number of the pictures on Thursday, with the headline, "The Islamic Republic soldiers are on the border of occupied Palestine." The Iranian military's websites showcased photos of soldiers taken in the Bekaa Valley and Baalbek in south Lebanon. "We have come close to the motherland of corruption - the cursed Israel. With Allah's help, we will trample over their bodies" the website writes. (INN)

The war against ISIS is taking a dangerous, perhaps inevitable turn. The terror organization has been keen to expand to southern Syria and the Syrian capital of Damascus. Now it says it has recruited three Syrian rebel groups operating in the south of the country in an area bordering the Israeli occupied Golan Heights — that have switched their loyalties to ISIS.

This switch means that Israel, the U.S.’s closes ally in the Middle East, could be threatened from the southwest by the Egyptian ISIS group of Ansar Bait al-Maqdis in Sinai and by ISIS in southern Syria.

The ISIS war is not going well at all for the US-led alliance in Syria. ISIS and al-Nusra Front, al-Qaeda’s branch in Syria, are still the dominant rebel groups in the country. The U.S.-backed Free Syrian Army is still not a reliable fighting force.

It has been a most difficult few days for tiny Israel on the stage of world politics and diplomacy, with the tide of opinion, especially in Europe, turning squarely in favor of the Palestinians at the small country’s expense. In Geneva, world powers gathered to condemn Israel’s actions in Judea and Samaria; in Luxembourg, the EU Court of Justice removed Hamas from its terror blacklist; and back in the United States, a draft resolution was introduced at the United Nations demanding an Israeli withdrawal from lands wanted for a Palestinian State by 2017.

 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is quoted as saying -

“It seems that too many in Europe, on whose soil six million Jews were slaughtered, have learned nothing.”

The Bible warns that the destiny of the nations cannot be separated from Israel and Jerusalem. The Bible teaches that God would one day re-gather the children of Israel back into their land from among many nations around the world, which He has done. The Bible says they would be re-gathered in unbelief ... God has not re-gathering the children of Israel into their Land because they deserve it, but because His Name and His Word are at stake...  and because He loves them. They are His chosen people. The Bible warns us that  God will make Jerusalem a world trouble spot, which indeed it is.

The Bible says all nations of the world will turn against Israel but we His remnant must remain vigilant in our resolve to support Israel, not because they deserve it, but because they are His chosen people and the apple of His eye. Faithfully writing as the Holy Spirit directed, these Jewish prophets and apostles preserved His Word and from this tiny nation, we have Salvation through Yeshua our Messiah, our Jewish Messiah.

We are all precious to the Lord. It doesn’t matter from where we came; what matters is will we repent and trust Yeshua for the forgiveness of our sins? God’s plan from the beginning was that salvation would be offered to the whole world. Reading about the partial hardening of the Jews in Romans 11 makes it clear, the hardening was to make way for the Gentiles to come into the Kingdom. We are all blessed!

As nation after nation condemns Israel, as churches around the globe stand against Israel and as John Hagee preaches Israel is saved because they are Jews - saved "without accepting Yeshua"  we who know the truth must stand up, speak up and support Israel in these last days.

A leading, and somewhat controversial member of Knesset earlier this month stated that those in positions of authority in the Jewish state must not rely on God alone when making decisions regarding the governance of Israel.

 “…when we trusted in God alone, we lost out.”

Not only will Jerusalem grow beyond historical memory, but the Lord “will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her” (Zechariah 2:5). No longer will Jerusalem be the pawn of other nations, no longer will she be subject to the whims of rival nations and competing religions. The Lord Himself will become a wall around her similar to the way God protected them as they fled from Egypt (Exodus 13:21-22).

The Senate unanimously passed a bipartisan resolution supporting Israel and denouncing Hamas. The timing of the move suggests it’s a reaction to rumors that the Obama administration is considering sanctions against Israel over their settlements in Jerusalem.

The Cruz-Gillibrand-Manchin Resolution supports Israel’s right to defend itself and condemns the use of human shields in Gaza.

“The Senate has sent a united signal that we denounce Hamas’ barbaric tactics and unequivocally support Israel’s right to self-defense,” said Sen. Cruz. “Even though Republicans and Democrats may be divided on many issues, there should be no daylight between us when it comes to standing up to radical Islamic terrorists including Hamas. I hope the international community will join America in condemning their deplorable use of human shields, which is a war crime. I thank my colleagues for their affirmation of our unshakable bond with the nation of Israel. We look forward to the passage of this resolution in the House or Representatives, where it has been led by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Florida and Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Florida and has 102 co-sponsors.”

But the White House quickly spoke up with the Obama administration denying reports that the U.S. was weighing sanctions on Israel over settlement expansions in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, dismissing such speculation as “completely unfounded and without merit. Reports that [we] might be contemplating sanctions against Israel are completely unfounded and without merit.”

Since there is no love lost between BHO and the PM of Israel, between America and Israel, all I can say to that is - Yeah, Right.!!!..

ISRAELI STABBED IN BROOKLYN SYNAGOGUE: Levi Rosenviat, 22, an Israeli student, was stabbed in the neck at a Brooklyn synagogue at the Chabad-Lubavitch world headquarters early Tuesday by a man who yelled, "I want to kill the Jew." The attacker, Calvin Peters, 51, was shot and killed after he lunged at a police officer with a knife. (NY Daily News)

A growing number of Western Christians have started to collaborate with the Muslim fight against Israel, primarily via support for anti-Israel Palestinian Protestant organizations like Sabeel and Kairos. 

Christian support for Hamas has grown virally after the summer’s Gaza war. Non-denominational movements like Tony Compolo’s Red-Letter Christians continue to be counted among those trying to help Hamas to "free Gaza." 

Films such as With God on Our Side by Porter Speakman, Jr, formerly of Youth With a Mission, and Little Town of Bethlehem, produced by Oral Roberts University chairman Mart Green, are much more than run-of-the-mill anti-Israeli propaganda. By romanticizing Muslim expressions of hate for Israel, such films have effectively become recruitment tools. 

Though Christian support for Palestinian violence has thus far remained nonviolent, to think this will remain the case is unrealistic.  

Hamas welcomed the collapse of PM Netanyahu’s coalition and hailed it as a sign of the terrorist group’s “victory” over Israel.

"The collapse of the Israeli coalition is another example of our victory and of Netanyahu’s defeat in Gaza," said Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri. The statement was made hours after Netanyahu fired Finance Minister Yair Lapid as well as Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, effectively disbanding the government. Approximately two hours after he fired Lapid and Livni, Netanyahu held a press conference in which he officially launched his election campaign, telling voters who wanted a strong government to vote Likud, noting that the formation of the government was determined "because the party under my leadership, the Likud, didn't get enough mandates, so there were in the government contrasting angles." In addition to Hamas, another comment on Netanyahu's decision to disband the Knesset came from the US, where Secretary of State John Kerry said that whatever government will be formed, he hoped it would be able to "negotiate and move towards resolving differences between Israelis and Palestinians." A Jerusalem District Court has rejected the appeal of the Messianic village of Yad Hashmonah and has ordered it to pay compensation to the tune of USD $15,000 to two lesbians for refusing to allow a wedding reception on its premises.

There are many guest houses and businesses in Israel that are owned and operated by Messianic or Christian organizations. The ruling comes as a warning to all faith-based establishments in Israel that they cannot refuse use of their facilities once they have opened them up to the public.

As Kurds fight ISIS, they wonder, "Where is Israel, WHERE is the USA.??.

May the Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist in the land given to the Jewish people by the God  of Israel.  Please pray that Israel will turn back to their God.  Do not be silent at this most strategic time, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to.  Please also pray for a major breakthrough in the Muslim world. Please remember to pray for all of the soldiers in the IDF - they are defending and fighting for the soon coming of Messiah and the Kingdom of God.

Israel has both rejected God and claimed God at the same time. They are His chosen people, while at the same time they act in defiance of God. They are inheritors of the promise, but continually rebel against the terms of that promise.

If Israel is to be saved – and she will be saved – Israel must acknowledge this history. She must see herself as each one of us saw ourselves when we came to Christ, as fallen, sinful and wicked - desperately in need of redemption. In need of The Mashiach, our Saviour. 

God brings Israel back and redeems her, redeems 'any' of us… not because of who we are or because of any good either of us has done, but because of who GOD is.

ABBAS ACCUSES ISRAEL OF USING WILD BOARS AGAINST PALESTINIANS: Several Palestinian media outlets on Saturday quoted Palestinian Authority President Abbas as accusing Israel of using “wild pigs” against Palestinians in Judea & Samaria. Abbas’ allegation was made during a speech on Friday night. This was not the first time the PA accused Israel of releasing pigs to destroy agricultural fields in Judea & Samaria. In the past, the PA has claimed the IDF and settlers released wild pigs in Palestinian-owned lands to trample crops and intimidate farmers. “Every night, the Israelis release wild pigs against us,” Abbas said in his speech. “Why are they doing this to us?” Abbas also called for establishing “bridges of love” with Israelis “instead of the racist separation fence,” and warned, once again, against the eruption of a religious war while calling on Israelis “not to come close to our holy sites.”  Abbas added: “The Jews know very well that we seek peace and not war. We are opposed to all forms of violence, here and abroad.” [A positively nauseating statement by the Palestinian Authority chief honcho who incites deadly terrorist violence against Israel on a regular basis. JNN editor] An Israeli government official responded to Abbas’ charge about the wild boars, saying it would “be laughable, if it wasn’t so dangerous.” The official said this allegation was similar to one made in 2010 by the Egyptian governor of the south Sinai claiming a shark attack near Sharme-Sheikh was triggered by the Mossad to harm Egyptian tourism. “It’s a pity the Palestinian Authority president chooses to propagate such rubbish,” the official said, adding that the remarks were dangerous because “they fit into a consistent and ongoing pattern of incitement.” (J. The European Union has distributed to its 28 member states a secret document outlining its policy of sanctions against Israel should the Jewish state violate certain “red lines” in the peace process with the Palestinians.

That according to a report in the left-leaning Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, which cited Israeli diplomats in Europe who inadvertently became aware of the document.

The directive calls for broad sanctions against Israel in the event of any further Jewish construction in the area known as E1 near Ma’aleh Adumim or in those parts of eastern Jerusalem claimed by the Palestinian Authority.

The world will not be happy until they have destroyed Israel, one piece/peace at a time. JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Two Palestinians armed with a meat cleaver and a gun killed four people in a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday before being shot dead by police, the deadliest such incident in six years in the holy city amid a surge in religious conflict.

A neo-Nazi party from the city of Dortmund, Germany has demanded the city's mayor give them a list of all the city's Jews, in an event eerily reminiscent of darker days in Germany's past. According to reports, the party, known as Die Rechte (The Right), wrote a letter to Dortmund Mayor Ullrich Sierau requesting to know how many Jews live in and around the city, as well as their addresses. Mayor Sierau, from Germany's center-left Social Democratic Party, vehemently condemned the letter. In a press release, he slammed the request as "inhuman," saying the city was happy with everyone who chooses to call it their home. Sierau further said the city's Jewish community was an integral part of society. Dortmund’s Jewish council slammed the request, saying its "true intentions" were obvious, and said it was "obnoxious and perfidious anti-Semitism." (Ynet)

A 31-year-old Haredi man was stabbed this morning while he was walking to his synagogue in Belgium. The man is said to be in serious but stable condition.

A 25-year-old Israeli woman was fatally stabbed and two people were injured near a West Bank settlement as they waited for the bus — only a few hours after an Israeli soldier was also fatally stabbed in Tel Aviv as he waited for the light rail. As Israel awaits the coming of the Messiah, tribulations, tensions, pain and suffering will continue. 

 As Christians await the second coming of Messiah, tribulations, tensions, pain and suffering continue. Ungodly laws, riots, murders continually fill the pages of American newspapers and flood the internet.

Before the coming of The LORD, a man of sin must arise. A man destined to deceive many will make his appearance. Many from both nations will follow this man who will stand against God - the one called, antichrist. America is on a collision course with the God of the Bible because of the sin of disobedience. Israel is on a collision course with the God of the Bible because of the rejection of the Son of God.

If Israel would only accept the two-state solution, and if the Jews would only stop entering the Temple Mount, these world leaders reason then the Palestinians would give up their dream of returning to Haifa and Ashkelon, multiculturalism would flourish in Europe, human rights would be upheld and religions would coexist peacefully.

Two terrorist stabbing attacks on Monday claimed the lives of two young Israelis and left three others wounded during a day of unrest across the Holy Land.

Pray for godly wisdom for Israel' leadership. Pray for a calming of tensions.  Pray that Islamic clerics will stop calling for jihad against the Hebrews, the chosen people of God.

Long before Mohammad, God gave this land (and much more) to Israel.  To say otherwise is to call The Word of God a lie.

Jordan has already recalled its ambassador from Tel Aviv, and officials have warned it may reassess the peace treaty, amid violence and tension surrounding the status of the mount, holy to Jews and Muslims.


In a further sign of Jordanian displeasure, Abdullah ordered two of his ministers and some 40 other Jordanian officials not to attend the 20th anniversary ceremony scheduled to be held in the Jordan Valley area between the two countries. This move forced the official postponement of the ceremony, which may well be cancelled altogether.”

HUNDREDS CLASH WITH IDF FORCES IN ‘DAY OF RAGE’: Palestinians adhered to leadership calls to hold a so-called 'Day of Rage' against Israel on Friday, as hundreds of Judea & Samaria residents staged protests and clashed with Israeli security forces. Violence erupted at the flashpoint Kalandia checkpoint, as some 400 Palestinians threw stones and firebombs at IDF troops. In the Shuafat refugee camp, a funeral was held for 38-year-old Ibrahim al-Aqari, the east Jerusalem resident who killed two people and injured a dozen more in a terrorist attack this week. Bright-green Hamas flags were carried through the terrorist's hometown, as residents threw stones and Molotov cocktails at security forces following the ceremony. Torching tires and trash cans, they chanted anti-Israel slogans, prompting Border Police officers to spray tear gas and quell the rising tensions. Both Hamas and Islamic Jihad called on Palestinians to take to the streets of Jerusalem and Judea & Samaria to demonstrate against Israel's policies at the Aksa Mosque. Near Ramallah Palestinians threw stones at security personnel, while demonstrations were held in other areas to the south, near Hebron. (Jerusalem Post)

Hamas declared the creation of a “popular army” at the Jabaliya refugee camp in the Northern Gaza Strip on Friday,  according to a report by the AFP.

A spokesman for the  Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades – Hamas’s military branch – said the 2,500 recruits would form “the first section of the popular army for the liberation of Al-Aksa and of Palestine,” according the AFP report,

Hamas called on all Palestinians, especially youths, to “move to save the Aksa Mosque and defend Jerusalem against the Israeli siege imposed on the city.” Friday should be turned into a “special day in the history of the Palestinian struggle to preserve our rights in Jerusalem,” it said. The movement also called on Palestinians to clash with soldiers and settlers in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Several cabinet ministers within Israel's government are claiming that BHO has notified PM Netanyahu of a planned major break with Israel.

According to reports, the US will, start voting with Israel's enemies at the UN unless BHO's wishes for Israel are heeded. One reporter, Ariel Kahana, quoting ministerial-level sources claimed they had informed him the PM had told colleagues that his office and the governments understanding of the issue  is that America will not cast a veto against any resolutions that reach the Security Council.

Pope Francis has a dream that one day, in the not so distant future, Israelis and Palestinians will live together, in separate independent states, in peace, security, and mutual respect, as befits the sons and daughters of  the one Merciful God in whom he and the vast majority of them believe.

What am I missing?   I thought Muslims worshiped Allah, Jews reject Yeshua as Messiah and the RCC is an apostate religion, yet the "vast majority" (sons and daughters) believe in the one Merciful God???  

The Obama administration's anger is "red-hot" over Israel's settlement policies, and the Netanyahu government openly expresses contempt for Obama's understanding of the Middle East. Profound changes in the relationship may be coming.

A  senior Obama administration official had this to say about the foreign leader who seems to frustrate the White House and the State Department the most. “The thing about Bibi is, he’s a chickenshit,” this official said, referring to the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, by his nickname.

Even as Jerusalem and Washington locked horns earlier this month in a very public spat over construction in Jerusalem, more than three-fourths of the Jewish-Israeli public is opposed to the establishment of a Palestinian state if it means dividing Jerusalem, according to a recently released poll.

The poll, sponsored by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, and conducted by the Shvakim Panorama research institute, found that 76 percent of the Jewish public opposed a Palestinian state if it meant dividing the capital, indicating that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took no political risks – and indeed reflected a wide consensus opinion – when he publicly sparred with the White House earlier this month over plans to build in Givat Hamatos and allow Jews to move into Silwan.

As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has noted, Israel and the Jews "have no greater friends and allies" than the 70-million strong Evangelical Christian community in the United States -- better friends, in fact, than much of the American Jewish Community.

A three-month-old girl was killed and several others wounded Wednesday evening when a known Palestinian terrorist rammed his vehicle at full speed into a crowd in Jerusalem.

The baby, identified as Chaya Zissel Braun, was laid to rest late Wednesday evening. Among the eight injured were Israeli and US citizens.

Jeremiah 30:3  'For behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD, 'that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,' says the LORD. 'And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.'"  (NKJ)

This week the seriously misguided government of the United Kingdom joined the seriously misguided new government of Sweden in officially recognizing the so-called state of Palestine.  The making of this decision, these foolish politicians, have placed their the nations on a head on collision course with the Holy One of Israel and will soon experiece the heat of His wrath. 

There is none so blind as those that will not see.

A team of Israeli Messianic Jews and Arab Christians have been assisting Syrian war refugees. The group recently visited a church where 219 refugees families (over 700 people) were taking shelter after fleeing from ISIS and other Islamist groups. 

“These people lost everything,” says one member of the Israeli group, whose names need to be protected. “They even saw family members murdered or kidnapped.”

Tens of thousands of Jewish people from Israel and around the world gathered at the Western Wall of Jerusalem’s Temple Mount on Sunday for the biblical priestly blessing that takes place during the festival of Sukkot, otherwise known as the Feast of Tabernacles.

Many of the Jewish visitors had wanted to ascend the Temple Mount during their visit, but were prevented from doing so by police, who feared an outbreak of Arab Muslim violence. Jews are typically attacked when entering their religion’s holiest site during their religious feast days.

ISRAEL PAID 32 MILLION SHEKELS TO TREAT SYRIAN WOUNDED: According to Israel’s Ministry of Health, since Israel decided to being treating wounded Syrians from the ongoing civil war in that country, it has spent 32,487,415 shekels (about $9 million). The information was released as part of a report addressing the expenses of four northern hospitals that have been treating the wounded. It is reported the wounded are first seen and cared for in an IDF field hospital and there the decision is made regarding continued hospitalization in an Israeli hospital. Despite the sum and the critical fiscal situation in government hospitals, IDF and ministry officials feel the treatment of Syrian wounded is viewed as being of the highest humanitarian nature. To date 1,200 Syrians have been treated in Israeli hospitals. (Janglo)

As Yom Kippur [Day of Atonement] draws to a close, let us pray for those that do not know their Messiah, The Saviour.  Those that have a form of godliness, but deny The Power.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday told United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that Hamas commits a double war crime by using civilians as human shields and firing rockets at Israel.

Netanyahu’s comments were made in a meeting with Ban at the UN headquarters in New York. Also attending the meeting was Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman.

Netanyahu told the UN chief that the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) should focus its investigation of war crimes in Gaza on Hamas, which also used UN buildings to fire rockets towards Israel. He added that the UNHRC is biased against Israel while protective towards Hamas.

ISRAELI ARAB PRIESTS TELLS UN HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL TO “END WITCH HUNT” OF ISRAEL:

Father Gabriel Naddaf, a Greek Orthodox priest from Israel, defended the Jewish state before the UN Human Rights Council, arguing that it is the only country in the Middle East where Christians are not persecuted, and implored the body to "end your witch hunt of the only free country in the region." Naddaf further said, "In the Middle East today, there is one country where Christianity is affectionately granted freedom of expression, freedom of worship and security. It is Israel, the Jewish state. Israel is the only place where Christians in the Middle East are safe." According to Naddaf, some 120,000 Christians have been killed each year in the Middle East for the last decade. "That means that every five minutes a Christian is killed because of his faith."  (Times of Israel)

Forty countries reportedly interested in joining forces to stop Islamists from spreading; Israel allegedly sending US information to help.

It appears that BHO' strategy for fighting ISIS/IS/ISIL is to seek support and intelligence information from Israel.

Intelligence is something that seems to be seriously lacking in the oval office these days.

In an exclusive interview with Famiglia Cristiana, the 91-year-old former two-term prime minister of Israel, Shimon Peres, said he wanted to establish an international body representing the world's major religions, as a moral force able to intervene in conflicts. Peres said Pope Francis would be the best person to head such a world body because "perhaps for the first time in history, the Holy Father is a leader who's respected, not just by a lot of people, but also by different religions and their representatives."
"In fact, perhaps he is the only leader who is truly respected" in the world, said Peres.   

 "What we need is an unquestionable moral authority who says out loud, 'No. God doesn't want this and doesn't allow it,' ” he said.

A sad commentary considering the RCC holds "numerous holy sites" within Israel.  A sad commentary indeed.

Perhaps they should also never forget that Yeshua said:  "No man taketh it [My life] from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

Until then, we must share the gospel with both Jew and Gentile - we must pray for our brothers and sisters across the globe who are fighting the good fight of faith.  We must pray for those in prison for their faith in Yeshua.  We must plant seeds, or water seeds that others have planted so our Heavenly Father, Abba, can bring the increase.

Pray for the protection of Israel’s northern borders as well as for the communities of the southern borders that are under constant rocket bombardment. Pray Israel’s security sources will remain on high alert and prepared to avert projectile strikes from Syria and the Lebanese-based Hezbollah terrorist organization.!!!.

But most importantly, pray that Israel would bow her knee to their Saviour and soon coming King - Jesus Christ, Yeshua haMashiach,  the one true and living God.  That they would lift their eyes toward heaven and with one voice shout:

"Baruch haba B'shem Adonai."

Recently Pope Francis and PM Netanyahu discussed what language the Messiah, Jesus spoke. Francis said Aramaic, the PM, Hebrew.

Jesus was born a Jew to a Jewish maiden. Jesus was born in Bethlehem in the Roman-ruled region of Judea, now the Israeli-occupied West Bank. He grew up in Nazareth and ministered in Galilee, both in northern Israel, and died in Jerusalem, a city revered by Jews, Christians and Muslims, and to which Israelis and Palestinians lay claim.

Palestinians sometimes describe Jesus as a Palestinian. Israelis object to that.

“Jesus was a native Aramaic speaker,” but he would have also known Hebrew because there were extant religious writings in Hebrew.”

During Jesus’ time, Hebrew was spoken by the lower classes — “the kind of people Jesus ministered to.”

Nine years after 10,000 Jews were thrown out of their homes in Gush Katif in Gaza and in northern Samaria as part of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s Disengagement plan, barely one third of Gush Katif refugees have found new permanent homes.

A construction tractor in Jerusalem overturned a bus and a car in Jerusalem Monday afternoon in what is being called a terror attack.

The tractor, which was driven by a Palestinian terrorist, slammed into the bus around 1:40 pm. Thankfully, the bus was empty at the time but the driver was lightly injured when the bus overturned.

Six pedestrians who were standing near the bus were injured in the attack. One of the pedestrians, 30, who was critically injured, has died.

Update:   Lt. Hadar Goldin was declared killed in action and was buried this weekend.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all those that mourn this day in Israel and in Gaza.

Lt. Hadar Goldin, engaged to be married in six weeks, abducted this morning in Gaza.

How very different Israel is from Hamas, and yet the world stands in support of Hamas against Israel.

 

PLEASE pray for this young man and his family. 

History has proven that regimes like Hamas are ultimately self-destructive; it's a tragedy that so many good people must give their lives before such evil is eradicated.

And still the vast majority of those living in Gaza support Hamas.

NETANYAHU SLAMS HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL’S DECISION TO INVESTIGATE ISRAEL:



PM Netanyahu slammed the UN Human Rights Council's decision to open an investigation into Israel's alleged human rights violations in the Gaza Strip. "It's a travesty of justice; it's a travesty of fairness; it's a travesty of common sense; it's a travesty of truth," the prime minister told visiting British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond. Netanyahu told Hammond how Hamas terrorists were firing rockets from schools, mosques, hospitals and heavily civilian populations, calling it a double war crime. "This use of human shields is extraordinarily sinister. It's grotesque. It's inhuman. But what is equally grotesque is that Israel was condemned in the Human Rights Council," he said. While Israel was doing its best to minimize civilian casualties, "we cannot give our attackers immunity or impunity. We seek as best as we can to target them, but all the civilian deaths that are there – and we regret each one of them – are the responsibility of the Hamas and the Islamic Jihad terrorists who are in league with them," Netanyahu said. Hammond stressed the need to bring the current conflict in Gaza to a quick end, laying the blame on Hamas. "Britain has been very clear, I have been very clear, Prime Minister Cameron has been very clear, that this current cycle of violence was triggered by Hamas firing hundreds of rockets at Israeli towns and cities indiscriminately and in breach of international humanitarian law," he said. Wounded soldiers have given shocking testimony regarding Hamas’ use of young children as human shields.

Parents of wounded soldiers spoke to Kol Yisrael on Tuesday and shared some of the disturbing stories they had heard from their sons. They said soldiers have repeatedly seen young children in Sheijaya, Gaza, be sent out into the streets with guns to try to attack IDF troops.

One parent reported that terrorists had run at IDF soldiers with a gun in one hand and a baby in the other, apparently in hopes that the soldiers would see the child and hold their fire. If soldiers fired, the parent added, the child’s death could be used as propaganda against Israel.

“They’re continuing the same trick of using children as human shields, just as they did in Operation Cast Lead,” one father said. Women are used as human shields as well, he added. He expressed frustration at figures on the Israeli far-left who have accused IDF soldiers of committing war crimes. Israel’s soldiers do everything they can to avoid hurting innocent people, he said.

The parents’ testimony joins previous evidence of similar crimes, including reports from UNRWA that a school building was used to store rockets, and a video showing terrorists using an ambulance to escape the site of an attack.

Hamas has openly boasted about the "success" of its strategy of using civilians as human shields during Operation Protective Edge.

And STILL nations and governments continue to lay the blame on Israel.

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed support for Israel in its struggle against Hamas and its supporters, and cited the three Israeli teenagers who had been recently murdered.

“I follow closely what's going on in Israel,” said Putin to a delegation of rabbis. “I support the struggle of Israel as it attempts to protect its citizens. I also heard about the shocking murder of the three youths. It is an act that cannot be allowed.”

　
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper offered support for the nation of Israel.

“The indiscriminate rocket attacks from Gaza on Israel are terrorist acts for which there is no justification,” he said in a recent statement. The Canadian Press reports he went on to affirm that Hamas is “deliberately using human shields” as the terror group escalates violence in the region. Harper called on other nations to join him in coming to Israel’s defense. Failure by the international community to condemn these reprehensible actions would encourage these terrorists to continue their appalling actions,” he said. “Canada calls on its allies and partners to recognize that these terrorist acts are unacceptable and that solidarity with Israel is the best way of stopping the conflict.”

Four days after the alleged revenge killing of Palestinian teen Muhammad Abu Khdeir convulsed the nation, one of the six unidentified Jewish extremists arrested early Sunday morning in the brutal murder confessed to the crime.

According to numerous sources, the unidentified suspects made the confession during questioning by Shin Bet security agents. While details of the arrests and investigation remain largely unknown due to a court-sanctioned gag order, hours after their arrests a Petah Tikva court ruled that five of the suspects be held for an additional eight days.

For 18 days they never stopped believing, hoping against all odds that their boys will return home alive. But on Monday night the three families received the horrifying news – the bodies of Gilad Sha’ar, Naftali Frenkel, and Eyal Yifrach had been discovered near Hebron. For more than two weeks, the three families in Talmon, Nof Ayalon, and Elad urged the world to help return their boys home. In the three homes – Yifrach in Elad, Sha’ar in Talmon, and Frenkel in Nof Ayalon – dozens of stunned friends and relatives gathered. "The family was shocked," they said in Elad. "It is hard for the family, and it is for us too, to hear that Eyal was no longer alive. All we can do now is lend strength to the family." The Sha’ar family was until several hours ago in Tel Aviv, from where they rushed home. As rumors of the boys' fate began to spread, people began to break down, close relatives gathered at the family home, where they remained in the house. At the Makor Chaim yeshiva in Kfar Etzion, where Gilad and Naftali studied, teachers and students received the news with shock. Students on summer break were informed they needed to return to the yeshiva in the wake of the discovery of the bodies. Just a day earlier, thousands of Israelis had turned out at Rabin Square in Tel Aviv in an expression of solidarity with the families and to call for the boys' return. (Ynet)

Several representatives of Arab and Muslim states announced at the UN they would be asking the Security Council to condemn Israel’s actions in the West Bank, which they called an overreaction.

Palestinian ambassador Riyad Mansour was flanked by the ambassador from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Senegal and the League of Arab States as he called on the Security Council to act against Israel for the second time in the two weeks since Naftali Fraenkel, Gil-Ad Shaer and Eyal Yifrah were kidnapped.

Qatar’s said they were “joining in solidarity with Palestine in also deploring the acts of aggression committed by Israel, the occupying power, against the Palestinian people.”

ISRAEL CONCERNED BY US FAILURES IN IRAQ:

While the Israeli government is officially keeping mum on the advance of radical Islamist forces in Iraq, local security officials are voicing concern over US failures in Mesopotamia and what that means for the Jewish state. The armies of the Islamic State in Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) look poised to seize control of most of Iraq, including Baghdad. And this despite the fact they were facing an Iraqi military into which America had poured billions of dollars and five years of training. But when ISIS began to advance, the US-trained Iraqi army “literally left their shirts on the ground and fled,” said Israeli officials. This is not heartening to Israel, considering that most of the concessions she is asked to make in the peace process with the Palestinians are supposedly backed by US security guarantees. For instance, in recent US-brokered peace talks, Israel was asked to eventually relinquish control of the strategic Jordan Valley, where a US-trained pan-Arab force would maintain security. But, the Israelis argued, if US-trained Sunni soldiers in Iraq were unwilling to fight ISIS, how could they be expected to stand firm when fellow Muslims threatened the Jewish state? Nor is it simply a matter of Washington’s failure to properly discern Muslim loyalties. Apparently, the quality of US training when it comes to local Arab forces is wanting, as demonstrated by Hamas’ relatively easy 2007 takeover of the Gaza Strip from the US-trained and equipped Palestinian Authority security forces. REARRESTED SHALIT DEAL TERRORISTS TO HAVE PARDONS REVOKED: MK Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) said this week that many of the terrorists released in the Gilad Shalit deal and re-arrested in the last few days will have their pardons annulled and will go back to jail, to serve out the remainder of their sentences. "We are starting to change the equation so that abductions do not pay,” she wrote on her Facebook page. "Of the terrorists freed in the Shalit deal who were arrested, a large part violated conditions of their pardon and therefore their pardon will be annulled and they will go back to serving their full sentence." Out of the Shalit deal, there are about 100 'heavy' terrorists who were released into the areas of Judea and Samaria. PM Netanyahu on Wednesday praised the Israeli security services for their overnight roundup of dozens of Palestinians, including 51 Hamas operatives, in the search for three kidnapped Jewish teens. As of Friday morning an additional 55 wanted Palestinians had been arrested. Two of the men apprehended were released in the Shalit deal in 2011, bringing the roundup of Shalit deal terrorist to 53. Over 300 Palestinians have been taken into custody since the start of the kidnapping crisis last week, and over 1000 locations have been searched. Security forces also shut down the Al-Aqsa radio station, raiding its offices in Ramallah and transmitter in Hebron, (Jerusalem Post/Arutz-7)

Continue to intercede for the safety, courage and recovery of the three kidnapped Jewish teens. Pray for emotional strength and hope for their families. Pray also the Hamas terrorist organization will be completely dismantled from all of its operations in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip.

The Zionist Organization of America issued a harshly worded condemnation of the kidnapping of the three Israeli teens Eyal Yifrach, Gil-Ad Shaer and Naftali Frenkel, and slammed the US’ policy as “nothing less than a diplomatic Kristallnacht.

In the statement, the group described Hamas, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said is responsible for the kidnapping, as “Nazi-like”.

Three Israeli teenage boys (pictured above) -- including one who is American-born -- disappeared last Thursday. Fairly quickly, Israeli authorities determined the boys had been kidnapped and taken into the West Bank. Prime Minister Netanyahu says he has hard evidence that Hamas is responsible.

GOP lawmakers vented that advances made by the terrorist front, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are confirming their "worst fears" about what would happen in the wake of the Obama-ordered US troop withdrawal in 2011. "What's the president doing? Taking a nap," House Speaker John Boehner snapped, before abruptly ending his weekly press conference on Thursday. Sen. ISRAEL UNFREEZES 1,800 NEW JUDEA AND SAMARIA HOMES: Plans to construct 1,800 new housing units in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem were unblocked on Thursday, hours after tenders on 1,500 new homes in the region were announced. The unblocked plans include homes in ten separate communities throughout Judea and Samaria, all of which are at different stages of planning. The plans had been frozen by the government roughly three months ago, even though a building freeze was not an official part of the peace talks that fell apart just ahead of their April 29 deadline. PM Binyamin Netanyahu admitted last week he had folded to American demands at the time and canceled the Civil Administration's high planning council meetings. The move effectively froze all building and development in the region. Earlier on Wednesday night, the Housing Ministry and the Israel Lands Administration issued tenders for 1,500 new homes in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem as part of Israel's response to the establishment of the Hamas-Fatah unity government on Monday. EU TELLS ISRAEL TO ‘REVERSE’ CONSTRUCTION PLANS: The European Union on Thursday condemned Israeli announcements to build additional housing units in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem. The EU said it is "deeply disappointed" by the Israeli plans to build more Jewish homes in the Biblical heartland of Israel. "We call on the Israeli authorities to reverse this decision and to direct all their efforts towards an early resumption of the peace talks."   WHAT peace talks I ask??????
