Senior ministers in PM Netanyahu's office are furious at the American administration, for "not reacting with proper force" to the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas unity deal on Wednesday. Israel is demanding that Washington DC declare the reconciliation between the two as not legitimate. "Four times Mahmoud Abbas refused to advance the talks in recent weeks," a diplomatic source said. "He refused the American paper framework deal, he refused to recognize the Jewish state; he refused to receive the prisoner release deal and then went to the UN institutions." The source noted that "in every case Abbas was not rebuked, and the result was that he went to Hamas." Instead, the source stated that American statements against the PA's move have been "feeble." PM Netanyahu said Thursday that peace talks are "essentially buried" if PA President Abbas forges ahead with a new agreement with Hamas. "Yesterday, with the pact with Hamas, the Palestinian people took a huge step backward, away from peace, away from a good future for themselves. They chose to make a pact with the people committed to our destruction, and that doesn't square away with peace." (Israel National News/Fox)

Muslims scream and cry they want peace - but...

The Temple Mount, the most holy site for Jews across the world - yet

RIOTS FORCE OUT TOP US RABBI FROM TEMPLE MOUNT: Rabbi Meir Soloveichik’s tour of the Temple Mount was cut short when violent rioting broke out at the holy site. It was the first time that the Temple Mount had been open to Jews since the beginning of the observance of Passover this year. The riots forced Rabbi Meir Soloveichik and his family, who were accompanied by Temple Institute Director Rabbi Chaim Richman, to leave the site within two minutes of ascending to the Mount. Two police officers were injured in the confrontation, and 24 arrests have been made. The visit provided an opportunity for the influential American rabbi to join the struggle for Jewish prayer and presence on the Temple Mount. Rabbi Soloveichik was witness to the deteriorating security situation on the Temple Mount and saw, first-hand, Jews being ushered quickly and expelled from the holy site when Muslim rioters began throwing rocks. He expressed great consternation at the desecration of the holy site. (Israel National News)

I have visited the Temple Mount. One is not allowed to carry a bible nor pray. You can pray silently, but your lips must not move and you must not speak about Jehovah God or His Son. Muslim "guards" walk the perimeter of the mount ensuring that their laws are strictly followed.

What Islam teaches and millions of Muslims across the globe want is "a piece" not "a peace" - what Islam wants is the destruction of Israel, one piece at a time.

KERRY SLAMS ANTI-JEWISH MEASURES IN EASTER UKRAINE: US Secretary of State John Kerry attended crisis talks on the Ukraine, Thursday in Geneva. He told reporters afterward that notices were sent to Jews in a Ukrainian city asking them to identify themselves as Jews. Kerry added, "In the year 2014, after all of the miles travelled and all of the journey of history, this is not just intolerable, it's grotesque. It is beyond unacceptable." The notices were sent by the "People's Republic of Donetsk," part of a pro-Russian separatist movement that has held violent protests and seized government buildings in the city. In the notice, Jewish residents were ordered to register with the pro-Russians or be deported. The leaflets were handed to Jews near the local synagogue and targeted Jews for allegedly supporting Ukraine against the pro-Russians. The notice orders all Jews over 16 years of age to register in front of the government building that has been occupied by pro-Russian forces. It further orders Jews to pay a registration fee of $50 before May 3 and list all real estate and vehicles owned. "In case of failure to register, the perpetrators will be stripped of their citizenship and deported forcibly outside the country with confiscation of property," read the notice. The unrest in Ukraine has brought with it a sharp rise in antisemitic attacks on the region's Jewish population, highlighted by such events as the stabbing of the Deputy Commander of ZAKA Kiev, Chairman Rabbi Hillel Cohen. The latest clashes in Donetsk have raised even further fears of a civil war breaking out in Ukraine, between Ukrainian and pro-Russian forces. (Israel National News)

Pray for the protection of Jews in Ukraine. Pray also for the alertness of Jewish communities across Europe who are increasingly coming under antisemitic attacks.

Officials in Jerusalem are pessimistic about the possibility of the stalled peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) resuming anytime in the near future. Officials told Israel’s Channel 10 News there is “zero chance an agreement will be reached in the coming weeks” that will allow the talks to continue beyond an April 29 deadline. On Thursday, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon signed official documents, confirming reception of and starting processing for PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' requests to join international conventions that are also signed by the UN. Ten of the 15 conventions the PA wishes to join are co-signed by the UN. Hours after Ban signed the documents, an Israeli official said Israel has enacted an additional sanction against the PA, by freezing the transfer of taxes Israel collects for the PA. Further, the official noted Israel is suspending participation with the PA to develop a gas field in the sea off of Hamas-controlled Gaza, and putting a cap on PA deposits in Israeli banks. “The purposes of these moves, and others likely to come, is "to save the process," one government official said. These calculated and measured steps, he said, were aimed to show the Palestinians that "continued rejectionism will harm their interests." Further steps, he said, will be a "function of what the Palestinians do or do not do. If the Palestinians continue with their unilateral steps, Israel will continue to respond." "Kerry, not Israel, is the "Poof" moment

In May 2013, analysts said that Secretary of State John Kerry had a "messiah complex" about being "the one" to finally broker a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Newsmax reported in May 2013, for example, that "Kerry's plan remains opaque, even to officials in the [sic] Administration." He didn't need a plan. He saw himself as the only one who could wrestle peace from the jaws of hatred. Now, the peace messiah is primarily blaming Israel for why Kerry's messianic pixie dust didn't settle the peace. He told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that Israel announced building new houses and didn't release Palestinian prisoners on time, and "Poof, that was sort of the moment."

Pretty strong nuance for the nation's chief foreign policy diplomat. One that was quite offensive to Israel. An official in the Israeli's Prime Minister's office told the NY Times that Kerry's remarks "will both hurt the negotiations and harden the Palestinian positions." He said, "Secretary Kerry knows that it was the Palestinians who said 'no' to continued direct talks with Israel in November; who said 'no' to his proposed framework for final status talks; who said 'no' to even discussing recognition of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people; who said 'no' to a meeting with Kerry himself; and who said 'no' to an extension of the talks." Israel's official statement said it was "deeply disappointed" by Kerry's remarks.

Of course the pro-Islamic bullies in the occupant of the Oval Office's administration were not going to let that stand. Kerry's spokeswoman Jen Psaki called on the Israeli media to put Kerry's comments in proper context. Psaki told reporters on Wednesday at the State Department, "He was frankly surprised by the coverage of his comments. He doesn't believe... that one side deserves blame over another. What he did yesterday was simply restate the chronology of events of last week which took place." Later, Kerry and Foreign MInister Avigdor Liberman met at the State Department where Liberman told Kerry that "everyone in Israel knows that you are a true friend." But the damage is done.

From the beginning this "president" has disrespected Israel's Prime Minister and Israel's position. Putting Kerry in charge of the peace process is in step with that disrespect. In September Israel's Defense Minister said that Kerry operates "upon an unfathomable obsession and a messianic feeling" and "The only thing that can 'save' us is that John Kerry will get a Nobel Peace Prize and leave us alone." And "Poof" that sums up Kerry and his credibility. We know that the only one who will ever bring peace to Israel is the true Messiah, Jesus Christ. Until then, Jeremiah 6:14 is in play: "They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace."

As anticipated, the Obama administration’s efforts to impose a peace settlement have proved to be a disastrous failure. Regrettably, the US intervention has only exacerbated the situation. The peace settlements between Israel and Egypt and Jordan were achieved because both parties sought to come to an accommodation. The US did not then seek to impose solutions. It only became involved as a facilitator after both parties had taken the initial steps and invited its participation. The flawed initiatives by the Obama administration have resulted in the standing of the US in both Israel and the Arab world plummeting to its lowest level. The pressure was exerted overwhelmingly on Israel while the Palestinians, who were treated with kid gloves, refused to make a single meaningful compromise. The positive memories of Obama’s visit to Israel and the ongoing defense support and co-operation – now at an all-time high – were overshadowed by Israeli anger against the US for bullying its government into releasing brutal mass murderers who were subsequently glorified as heroes by the Palestinian Authority. The PA demanded this as a prerequisite to even agreeing to negotiate. It is now time for the Obama administration to accept the reality that the PA has evolved into a criminal society. How else to define a regime which brainwashes kindergarten-age children into believing that Israel and the Jews are evil parasites, and continuously calls for the elimination of the Jewish state? This demonization of Israel is reinforced daily by the mullahs in the mosques, and by the PA-controlled media. In addition, terrorists are sanctified, treated as heroes and awarded state pensions. Despite all the efforts and concessions Israel has made, there are signals the Obama administration will cast the blame on us for the failure of negotiations, which we realized from the outset were doomed as a hopeless charade. Peace partners:  Islam and Judaism - a match made in...???..

Two Christian women were publicly beheaded by Islamist terrorists in southeastern Somalia, as part of a campaign to "wipe out" any Christian presence in the east African country. Media reports Friday disclosed the two women were executed by the AlQaeda-aligned Al Shabaab militia in the port town of Barawa after their Christian identities were discovered. Villagers were forced to witness the murder, including one victim’s eight and 15-year-old daughters. Locals described the harrowing scenes as the younger daughter screamed in vain for someone to save her mother from the brutal killing. The girls have now been relocated to another area for their own safety. According to local sources, the women's executioners made their ultimate goal clear in an announcement immediately before the execution. "We know these two people are Christians who recently came back from Kenya – we want to wipe out any underground Christian living inside of jihadists’ area." (Arutz-7)

Israel has offered the Palestinians a proposal that Jerusalem hopes will result in extended peace negotiations beyond the initial April 29 deadline set for the current round of talks, a Palestinian official told media sources. According to the official, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was reviewing the draft agreement. While an Israeli official refrained from providing details on the offer, he said, "Now the Palestinians need to reply if they are willing to continue negotiations." (Jerusalem Post)

Iran has named as its next ambassador to the UN, a member of the terrorist organization that held 52 Americans hostage in Tehran 34 years ago. Media reports Sunday disclosed the Iranian government has applied for a US visa for Hamid Aboutalebi, who was a member of a radical student’s group that seized the US embassy on Nov. 4, 1979, and held its staff hostage for 444 days. The State Department has not responded to the visa application, according to an Iranian diplomat. Aboutalebi’s appointment could lead to demands in Washington that the Obama administration take the unusual step of denying a visa to an official posted to the UN. ;In addition, it “could hamper progress toward a comprehensive agreement to curb Iran’s nuclear program,” which the US and other members of the P5+1 group are seeking to negotiate with Iran by July 20. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani tapped Aboutalebi for the UN position after an interim deal on Iran's nuclear weapons program was reached last November. (Israel National News)

PM Binyamin Netanyahu has slammed the UN Human Rights Council for “absurdly” condemning Israel in five resolutions while censuring Syria and Iran only once. "At the end of last week, the UN Human Rights Council condemned Israel five times, when the slaughter in Syria is continuing, innocent people are being hung in the Middle East and human rights are being eroded," he told ministers at the weekly cabinet meeting. "In many countries the free media are closed down and the UN Human Rights Council decided to condemn Israel," he added. "It's absurd. This procession of hypocrisy goes on and we shall continue to denounce and expose it. "According to Human Rights Watch, the 47-member UN body on Friday passed four resolutions critical of Israel's conduct toward the Palestinians and one on its "occupation of the Golan Heights." HRW said the motions on the Palestinians were carried by 46 votes to one, with only the US against, while the Golan resolution garnered 13 abstentions and a US 'no' vote. (Israel National News) “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh. The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: ‘Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.’” Ps 2:4-6
